Spice up your content rotation by cycling through different media in each loop.
There are two apps conveniently taking care of the cycling aspect of it. All you have to do is provide the media or in case you don't have the media use Media RSS Feeds.
To set up a Media Cycling App, follow the next steps:
- In your OnSign TV account go to the App Gallery (Creating an App).
- Media Cycling Apps are found in two different locations in your App library. In "News & RSS Feeds" you find the "Cycling Media RSS" App. In "Web & Media" you find the "Media Cycling App". Select the corresponding category from the sidebar menu or type "media" into the search bar.
- Choose your App.
- If you use the “Cycling Media RSS” App, add the RSS Feed URL. If you select the “Media Cycling App”, add the files you want to display into the App's media box.
- “Save”. Your App is ready to be published to your screens!
These are the two Apps in detail:
Cycling Media RSS

Display a single Content each time this App appears on screen. Test this App before deploying to your whole digital signage operation and adjust the duration of the App in the Campaign timeline, in the Playlist, or in the Content in Player according to the average duration of the RSS Feed's content.
Media Cycling App

It will reproduce a single media from your files – such as photo or videos – at a time for the duration of the App in the Timeline or Playlist. When this App includes multiple media items, a different file is displayed in each new content loop. After all media items are displayed once, the sequence will start over from the first file.
