A good practice is to factory reset your Player before deploying it to the field. This will ensure you get a clean install.

Follow these steps to factory reset your BrightSign device:

1. Power off the Player.
2. Remove the SD card and format it (FAT32).
3. Insert the SD card again while the device is still turned off.
4. Hold the SVC and Reset buttons.
5. Connect the Player to the power while still holding SVC and Reset buttons.
6. Wait for the red Err LED to start flashing rapidly.
7. Release the SVC and Reset buttons.
8. The error LED will stop flashing and the Player will reboot.
9. WAIT until the Player completely finishes the setup! This will take several minutes and the Player will reboot itself several times.
