Share content from the staples of social media with your audience. OnSign TV counts with many social networks Apps in its library. Learn how to add them to your Content:
- First, go to the App library (Creating an App) from where you create your App from any template.
- Select “Social Networks” from the sidebar menu of the pop-up window.
- Choose a Social Network App. When you have finished configuring the App to your liking, click on "Save" at the bottom of the App Configuration. Any time you work on a Campaign, Playlist, or Composition where you want to use the App, the App can be found under the name you gave it among your Content.
Social Network Apps
- Animated Facebook App: A Facebook App supporting landscape, portrait, and footer bar format! It will only show content from a public Facebook page.
- Facebook Modern: This data feed enabled App shows a full-screen view of a Facebook page. With new animation and a QR Code to redirect viewers to the Facebook page.
- Facebook Page: A full-screen widget of a Facebook page. It will only show content from a public Facebook page.
- Follow Us: Use this application to promote all your social networks at once in a clean and good looking animated slideshow.
- Instagram: Shows photos from your Instagram account, one at a time. This app is available with or without a data feed. Learn how to integrate your Instagram account into OnSign TV.
- Instagram Grid: This App shows a photo grid from your Instagram account. This app is available with or without a data feed. Learn how to integrate your Instagram account into OnSign TV.
- Social Wall: This data feed enabled App shows a collage of posts from Facebook and Instagram in a dynamic way.
- Taggbox Display: The Taggbox Display App is a power-packed tool to collect, curate, moderate, and display fascinating social media content via hashtags, mentions, page url, tags, etc. from popular social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, Slack, Yammer, Workplace, YouTube, etc. to display on any digital screen. To use this App you need to create a Taggbox account at https://app.taggbox.com/display/accounts/register. This is a Third-Party App. Please, refer to Taggbox for questions and support.
- Walls.io: Walls.io is an easy-to-use social wall which allows you to collect, curate, and display content from multiple social media platforms. To set up your social wall, sign-up at https://walls.io/sign-up.
- YouTube Video: Automatically plays a video from YouTube in a loop. Here's also a dedicated tutorial of the YouTube Video App.
X (formerly Twitter) is no longer supported
X, what formerly was Twitter, made significant modifications to its platform’s API in 2023, resulting in the disruption and malfunctioning of numerous services which relied on Twitter’s functionality. The revised API policy, along with its associated fees, have rendered it impractical to continue to support it.
In light of this situation, we propose exploring alternative solutions such as Social Media aggregation companies like Walls.io, which can be effectively used with OnSign TV.
We recommend unpublishing all of the Twitter Apps from your OnSign TV account, as they will no longer have their content updated.
