OnSign can present PowerBI dashboards and reports directly on your signage screens. Better yet, access to the PowerBI platform is directly authenticated through your Microsoft account, so your password is not stored on OnSign.
This App is NOT compatible with:
- Samsung SoC – SSSP 4, 5, and 6,
- LG webOS 3 and 4,
- BrightSign LS3 and below; BrightSign XD4 and below.
Players with an older WebView before version 97 can only show a dashboard if the “Render Dashboard Remotely” option is enabled in the Advanced App settings.
Follow these steps to configure and present PowerBI content:
1. Authenticate OnSign on your Microsoft Account:
- In your OnSign account, go to Settings > Integration Accounts.
- Click the orange button "+ Add Account" on the top-right.
- Select Add Microsoft Account.
- Authorize OnSign to access your Microsoft PowerBI Account.
2. Configure the PowerBI App:
- Go to the Content page.
- Click the orange "New" button on top.
- Select App.
- Go to the "Third Party" category.
- Select the Microsoft Power BI View App.
- Give the App a name.
- Select which Dashboard or Report to be presented by the App by choosing it from the dropdown menu.
- If your player's WebView is older than version 97, you need to enable the option “Render Dashboard Remotely” from the Advanced settings.
