Report Hub

OnSign introduces the new Report Hub, a centralized page that allows users to create, organize, and access reports more efficiently.

The Report Hub replaces the legacy Reports page and includes more than 30 report options distributed across 11 categories. Users can:

  • Automate reports to run daily
  • Create reports based on rules and specific dates
  • Save reports inside custom folders for easier organization

Accessing the Report Hub

To access the new Report Hub:

  1. Open the Reports tab in the main menu
  2. Click Report Hub

You can also access it from the legacy Reports page by clicking the “Try the new Report Hub” message located in the top-right corner.


Overview

When accessing the Report Hub, you will immediately see the list of generated reports.

On this page, you can:

  • Filter reports by type and by recurrence status (recurring or one-time)
  • Search reports by author or report name
  • Expand recurring reports to view all scheduled recurrences and generated entries

The new Report Hub interface is shown below:

Use the categories available in the left-side menu to access the full list of report options for each section.

  • Playback: Access playback summaries by day, Player, or content. Reports can also be filtered by tags, content types, and playback reasons to better match your needs.
  • Programmatic: Filter Programmatic Ads reports by day, event, or Player to monitor and validate content delivery.
  • Interactivity: Generate interactivity summaries to track and analyze screen interactions and support the daily use of interactive features.
  • Playing Loop: Simulate a Player loop and export playback order reports to help plan upcoming content strategies and scheduling.
  • Audit: Track team and content activity, including publishing actions, exports, and user activity logs.
  • App Events: Access the date and time of individual custom app events. Depending on usage, generated data may be extensive.
  • Licenses: Monitor your organization’s license usage with detailed reports on license activity and subscription listings.
  • Permission and Sharing: Review shared content and apps across organizations, or export reports containing users, groups, and permission mappings.

Note: The available export formats for each report are displayed on the right side of the report item. 

Note: The types of reports available in the Report Hub may vary depending on your subscription plan.

 

Creating a Report

Report Configuration

After selecting a report type, configure your report using the following sections:

Periodicity

Choose the desired data range for your report using either custom dates or preset ranges. You can also schedule reports by defining rules, including specific inclusion or exclusion dates.

Options

Customize your report with granular filtering options. Depending on the report type, you can select specific Players, groups, or content items, as well as apply filters such as tags, content types, or playback reasons.

Additional options may include:

  • Including playback errors
  • Including partial playbacks
  • Tracking interactivity triggers

This section also allows you to select the export file format and customize report settings according to your organization’s needs.

Save

Before generating the report, you can:

  • Add a report name
  • Include a description
  • Configure a notification email
  • Save the report inside a folder for easier organization

Once completed, your report will appear in the reports list, as shown below.
