Using Compositions

With Compositions, you can create panels like ads and menu boards directly within your OnSign platform. Combine multiple elements to craft beautiful designs and make your content stand out even more. In the following steps you learn how to create and edit Compositions.

The Composition feature can be used to include a variety of Content options. Make it dynamic with Apps and Data Feeds. Check out the new possibilities of Dynamic Compositions.

You can also add an AI-generated image directly to a Composition!

 
  1. Click New on the Content page and select Composition.

  2. Choose the desired image orientation to start with a blank canvas. Alternatively, select one of the available OnSign templates and customize it as needed.

  3. After selecting the orientation, you can define a custom resolution. Click the three dots in the top-right corner to access these settings.

  4. This menu allows you to set a custom width and height, as well as select a background color.

  5. Use the tools on the left panel to build your design. Available elements include text boxes (with multiple font options), shapes, stickers, and media from your library. Adjust each element’s properties, such as opacity, size, and layering, to achieve the desired layout.

  6. To generate an AI image, drag any image into the canvas and click the Generate AI Image button in the Adjustments panel.

  7. Enter your desired prompt and click Generate. A preview will be displayed; click Choose to confirm and apply the image.

  8. When your design is complete, click Save As, enter a name, and select Save.

The new Composition will appear alongside your other media files in your Content library. You can reopen and edit it at any time using the Composition editor.
