If you no longer need a Player, or just don't need it for now, you can remove the license from it without deleting the Player profile. This keeps all your Player's settings, content, and configuration intact, so you can reassign the license to a different Player later, or restore it to this same Player whenever you need it again.
- Go to your Players page.
- Mark the Player from which you want to remove the license. You will see that the orange button in the header changes to a blue “Actions” button.
- Select “Change Subscription” from the Actions menu.
- The Subscription box will show the currently assigned license. Click into it so that the box is left blank. Confirm with the orange “Confirm” button.
- On your Players page, the Player without a license is highlighted in red.
The device will no longer play content, but it will stay attached to the platform. You can additionally detach the device from the platform.
As for the license, it is now available to be used with a different Player or to be subtracted from your subscription. Just removing the license from the Player will not automatically subtract it from your subscription.
