The Amazon Signage Stick is a compact Fire TV-based device that transforms any HDMI-enabled display into a digital signage player. To use it with OnSign, the device must be registered through the Amazon Signage platform and linked to your OnSign account during the initial setup process.
How It Works
The registration process consists of two parallel steps: one performed in the Amazon Signage web console and another on the physical device.
After startup, the Amazon Signage Stick displays a pairing code on screen. This code must be entered into the Amazon Signage console to associate the device with a Content Management System (CMS), in this case, OnSign.
Configuration Steps
- Go to the Amazon Signage Console.
- Sign in with your Amazon account.
- Click + Add Stick in the top-right corner of the screen.
- On the Amazon Signage Stick, press and hold the Home button on the remote control for approximately 10 seconds to begin the pairing process.

- Press the Play/Pause button to confirm. Then configure the device language and network connection.
- The device will display a pairing code on screen. Enter the code into the Pairing Code field in the web console, click Verify, and then click Next.
- In the Choose CMS step, search for OnSign TV and select it from the list of available providers.
- Review the information displayed on the confirmation screen and click Add Stick to complete the registration.
Troubleshooting
• The device does not display a pairing code after holding the Home button for 10 seconds: The remote control may not be paired with the device. Ensure both devices have sufficient battery power and are within range. If necessary, restart the Stick by disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable.
• The pairing code returns a "not found" or invalid error: Pairing codes expire after a few minutes. Restart the pairing process on the device to generate a new code and enter it in the console immediately.
• OnSign TV does not appear in the CMS provider list: Use the search bar and enter OnSign to filter the results. If it still does not appear, verify that your Amazon Signage account has access to the OnSign TV provider.
• The Stick appears as "Offline" in the OnSign TV Player Manager after registration: Verify that the device is connected to the internet and that the OnSign TV application has launched correctly. It may take a few minutes for the status to update after the initial registration.
