Now you can connect any video source to your Player when using a Player which supports HDMI input!
This feature requires Compatible hardware!
The HDMI Input App is a simple, yet powerful feature allowing you to present in full screen or in a specific screen region any video source such as a live TV receiver, cable box, security camera, DVD, video games, and more!
Follow these steps to learn how to configure your HDMI Input App:
- In your App library (Creating an App), type in "HDMI" or select the “Other” category and choose "HDMI Input".
- Name the app and select the correct HDMI input in case your hardware device has more than one.
- Save the App.
That is all you need to display live TV alongside your digital signage content! Just add the App to your Campaign timeline or publish it directly in full screen.
NOTE: In case you play back HDMI input video together with surrounding content, make sure you display a single video at a time. Some Players don’t handle multiple video sources well.
There may be several video sources in the timeline, but played back separately, one at a time.
