In order obtain content from your social medias or other external accounts, you first need to authorize your OnSign TV account to access those accounts. This applies to Instagram, Microsoft, and other expanding options available in the Integration Accounts menu.
In the past, there was an integration with Facebook, but the integration method with Facebook changed. Therefore, a Facebook integration is no longer an option. You can still show public Facebook pages with the Facebook App without the need to establish an integration.
For Instagram, you need an Instagram Business account.
Follow these steps to connect your social media accounts:
- Click on the “Settings” of your user menu at the bottom-left.
- Select “Integration Accounts” from the sidebar menu.
- Click the “+ Add Account” button on the top-right and choose the service you want to integrate from the drop-down menu.
- You will be redirected to the selected service and prompted to authorize the account integration.
- Once the authorization is granted, the integration will be immediately confirmed.
When needed, with the red button on the right you can disconnect an integration account. Here you also see if an integration is no longer established because the service requires re-autorization.
