Unpublishing Content

You can unpublish Content from your Player in case they are outdated or have no longer any use. This frees up valuable memory on your device.

There are several paths to unpublishing Content, depending on the Content type.

Unpublish in Player view

The best overview you have from the Content in Player screen of the Player. This works for all pieces of Content: Playlists, Campaigns, Compositions, Apps, videos, and images.

  1. Go into the Player and select Content in Player from the menu.
  2. Look for the Content you want to unpublish and click the little check box in front of it.
  3. In the header, you will see color-coded buttons.
  4. Click on the red "Unpublish" button.
  5. Confirm that you want to unpublish this Content.
  6. Your Content is successfully removed from the Player.

Unpublish a Campaign or Playlist

Campaigns and Playlists, you can also unpublish directly from within the Campaign or the Playlist without the detour of going into the Player.

  1. In the Campaign or Playlist view, select “Publish” from the menu.
  2. Select the Player or Players from which you want to unpublish the Content. By selecting the check box in the header you select all Players.
  3. A red "Unpublish" button will appear in the header. Click it.
  4. Confirm you want to unpublish the Campaign or Playlist.
  5. Your Campaign or Playlist is successfully removed from the selected Players.

Unpublish from all Players

You can unpublish Content from all devices in two quick steps. This works for every Content type.

  1. Go to the Content tab.
  2. Find the Content you wish to unpublish.
  3. Right-click on the item.
  4. Select "Unpublish" from the pop-up menu.
  5. Confirm the action. Note, this cannot be undone. You need to publish your Content again, if you want it playing again.
  6. Your Content is now removed from all Players.
