On some Android devices, the Google Play Store may automatically update internal system components, such as the Android WebView. To prevent potential compatibility issues, we recommend disabling automatic updates in the Play Store. This tutorial will guide you through the steps to do so.
Depending on your Play Store app version, the screenshots below may look different
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
- A new window will appear. Select Settings.
- Next, tap Network Preferences, then choose Auto-update apps.
- Finally, check the box for “Don’t auto-update apps”.
