Installation steps
While this is not a mandatory requirement, we recommend having OnSign installed on the BrightSign player before following the Quividi installation steps.
- Log in to your VidiReports account.
- Navigate to Downloads > Vidireports > See more software downloads.
- Download the VidiReports firmware compatible with your target BrightSign player. This will download a file with the .bsfw extension to your computer.

- Remove the SD card installed in the BrightSign player.
- Copy the downloaded .bsfw file to the root directory of the SD card (the file must be placed directly in the root, not inside any folder).
- Create a folder named quividi on the SD card root:
• The folder name must be lowercase
• Leave the folder empty
⚠️ Without this folder, Quividi will not run on the BrightSign player. - Safely eject the SD card from your computer.
- Insert the SD card back into the BrightSign player and power it on.
- The player will indicate that it is installing the Quividi extension and may reboot several times.
- Wait until the installation process is fully completed and the player finishes restarting.
Once the process is complete, the Quividi Vidireports extension will be installed on the BrightSign player.
If OnSign is already preinstalled on the device, no further action is required and you are ready to go. Otherwise, you will need to follow additional steps to install OnSign on the BrightSign player.
