To be able to apply a remote update, the BrightSign device must be connected and accessible to the BrightAuthor:connected Software during the process.
Creating a new Player Setup
- Open the software BrightAuthor:connected, go to the "Admin" page and click on "Setup" option.

- Create a new "Player Setup", define a "Setup Name" and a "Player Name", then go to "Publishing Mode" and select "Partner App" and click "select a Partner App".

- Click "View All" to find and select the option for "OnSign". Then save it by clicking "Add Setup to Library".

Setting the new Player Setup
- Now come back to the "Admin" page and select "Provision".

- Select the device to be updated, then click the "Apply Setup" button. Select the "Player Setup" created in step 2.

Applying the new Player Setup to remote devices
- Go to the "Network" menu page, select a device, and click "engine button".

- Go to the "Control" page. In the "ReProvision Player" box, click the "Update" button. If a pop-up message appears, click OK.

- The "Player is rebooting message" will be shown, wait until this message disappears. After this message has disappeared, wait for 3 minutes and go to the "Snapshot" page.

- On the "Snapshots" page, click the "New Snapshot" button to capture the remote screen view. If a six-figure code appears, use this code to connect this hardware device to your OnSign TV account.

- If no six-figure code is shown, then go to the "Control" page and click "Reboot Player". Confirm with "OK" in the pop-up window.

- After the "The Player is Rebooting" message has disappeared, create a new snapshot and the six-figure code will be shown.

The six-figure code will be shown only for 2 minutes after rebooting. When no six-figure code is shown, repeat the steps 10 and 11 to generate a new pairing code, then follow the tutorial to connect it to your OnSign TV account.
