New features introduced on the OnSign platform in November 2025:
Alerts
- Enhanced player alert muting: Allows clients to suppress non-critical alerts, reducing noise and helping teams focus on issues that actually require action.
- Introduced alert history: Provides visibility into past alerts, making it easier to analyze recurring issues and improve system reliability.
- Introduced player-specific alert history: Enables faster troubleshooting by showing the alert timeline for each individual player.

- Added black screen and error alerts: Notifies clients of critical playback issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring content is always visible.
- Expanded filtering options with possibility of using multiple filters: Helps clients quickly find relevant players, alerts, or content by narrowing results more precisely, as can be seen in the following image:

Contacts
- Added the definition of a technical contact: Ensures the right person is identified for technical issues, speeding up resolution and communication.
- Added the ability to assign a contact point: Allows clear ownership per account, location, or player, improving support efficiency.
Folders
- Enabled editing of folder properties (or creation of special folders): Gives clients greater organizational control, making content management clearer and more scalable.

- Enabled uploading of entire folders: Saves time by allowing bulk uploads while preserving folder structure. This functionality is only available by drag-and-drop.
Other improvements
- Added the option to pause external data insertion: Lets clients temporarily stop live data updates to avoid incorrect or unwanted content changes.
- Introduced playback lead in synchronization: Ensures smooth and consistent playback start across players for a more professional presentation.
- Implemented location history tracking: Provides insight into where players have been used, supporting audits and asset management. This feature requires the player to have GPS capability.

- Added the ability to define a default aspect ratio in playlists: Prevents content distortion by automatically matching playback to the intended screen format.
